The vineyard is one of the highest in the region, located at an altitude of 510 metres with the unique north-west facing slopes of Mount Frome to capture maximum sunshine and excellent drainage promoting strong healthy vines. The soil is outstanding - reddish clay with limestone, quartz, ironstone gibber and a slightly negative pH.
